Installing Ezra

Add Ezra to your Slack workspace in under two minutes. No code required, no IT ticket needed.

Before you start

You'll need three things:

• Slack workspace admin access (or someone who can approve apps)
• An affiliate platform account (Impact, Everflow, Tune, or Trcker)
• Your platform API key (Ezra walks you through finding it)

Step 1: Start the install

Go to textezra.com/start and click "Add to Slack". You'll be redirected to Slack's OAuth screen.

Step 2: Approve permissions

Ezra requests:

• Send messages as Ezra
• Read messages in channels it's invited to
• Access your workspace profile

It does not request:

• Admin access
• Ability to read all channels
• Access to private DMs with other people

Step 3: Check Slack

After approving, you'll land on textezra.com/start/success. Look for a DM from Ezra in Slack — it's already waiting.

Ezra will ask you which platform you use, then walk you through connecting your API key.

What happens next

Ezra asks three things:

• Which platform — Impact, Everflow, Tune, or Trcker
• Your API key — with instructions for where to find it
• Morning briefings — whether you want them enabled

After connecting, Ezra pulls a quick snapshot of your program and tells you what it sees.
